📰 AI NEWS RECAP

ChatGPT Saves Lives

Bethany Crystal felt something was off.

Like many of us, she went to her doctor.

Her doctor ran lab tests on Friday and sent her home with diet recommendations.

Then it happened.

Over the weekend she noticed red spots on her legs.

She gave ChatGPT pictures of the spots on her legs.

And they discussed nutrition options.

But she felt something was still off.

ChatGPT recommended she get bloodwork done.

She remembered her doctor sent the bloodwork results, but didn't have a chance to review and provide comments.

So she gave her bloodwork to ChatGPT.

ChatGPT analyzed and identified her platelet count (which helps your blood clot from wounds) was dangerously low.

ChatGPT recommended she go to ER right away.

Still hesitant, she waited while ChatGPT asked if the red spots had started to spread.

They did.

ChatGPT urged her to go to the ER.

Emergency doctors ran new bloodwork only to discover that her platelets had dropped to ZERO.

If she had gotten cut, her body would not have been able to stop the bleeding.

So they put her on a treatment to restore her platelets.

The emergency doctors wanted to know...

How did she know to come in?

'ChatGPT told me to.' she said.

'Really?...that’s exactly what we want AI to do—help people catch things early.' they responded.
