Midjourney: Version 5.2 And More
Welcome to the final installment of our Midjourney series!
Midjourney: Version 5.2 and beyond
Over the past few weeks, we've delved into the fascinating world of AI image generation, and it's been quite a journey. We’ve come a long way from creating Batman overlooking a neon city to imagining Taylor Swift inspired dresses.
But as with any journey, the end is merely the beginning of a new adventure.
Since we started our Midjourney series a month ago, the landscape of AI image generation has evolved at a breakneck speed.
Midjourney recently launched 'Version 5.2', introducing the ability to “Zoom Out” of images. This feature builds on the 'generative fill' capabilities seen in other platforms, where AI creates new parts of an image by 'filling in' missing or specified areas with new content.
But the innovation didn’t stop there.
Enter Runway Gen-2, an AI tool that brings text and images to life.
Just this week, Runway Gen-2 took the AI world by storm when a content creator used it in tandem with Midjourney to create a viral sensation movie trailer for a dystopian sci-fi epic, "Genesis".
And when we say this trailer has gone viral, we mean viral.
The creator's Twitter following skyrocketed from 80 to 20,000 in less than a week, and the trailer has amassed nearly a million views.

As always, we're committed to keeping you updated on the latest developments in AI. This week is no exception.
So let’s jump right in!
Let's take a moment to reflect on our journey with Midjourney. We started by setting up accounts on both Midjourney and Discord.
Once set up, we ventured into Discord and crafted a prompt to design a dress inspired by Taylor Swift's song "Maroon".

Next, we enhanced the image using the upscale feature and then explored Midjourney's Version 5.2 "Zoom Out" function.
As we zoomed out, we subtly adjusted the prompt to incorporate a background inspired by another Taylor Swift's song, "ME!".

Our journey didn't stop there. We then signed up for Runway Gen-2, where we imported our Taylor Swift dress image.
We further edited the video in CapCut and finally transformed it into a GIF using ChatGPT's Code Interpreter.

Drawing on the inspiration from our Taylor Swift Dress creation, we embarked on a new adventure.
We combined the powers of Midjourney, Runway Gen-2, CapCut, and ChatGPT Code Interpreter to bring Batman to life, ready to deliver justice to Gotham City.

This journey has been a testament to the power of AI image generation and the creative possibilities it unlocks.
As we conclude our series on Midjourney, we hope you feel equipped and inspired to embark on your own AI adventures.
