Zoom’s NEW AI Agent
86% of workers believe automation will improve their job.
Why?
Because instead of mundane or repetitive tasks...
They can focus on value added insights to the business.
(Or have more time outside of work).
That's where Zoom comes in.
Zoom just released its own AI agent called:
Zoom AI Companion.
So, what can it do?
✅ Detects action items from meetings.
✅ Schedules follow-up meetings.
✅ Drafts emails and messages.
✅ Generates documents.
How can it do all of this?
It combines Zoom's own AI model with frontier models from other companies.
It'll select the best model depending on the task.
Built with four core agentic skills:
1️⃣ 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆
↳ It learns from your history of interactions.
2️⃣ 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴
↳ It makes smart decisions for you.
3️⃣ 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
↳ It picks the right tools & steps for you.
4️⃣ 𝗢𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
↳ It delegates to other AI agents for you.
It's like having a second pair of hands.
𝗠𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲🤔
First, many are using the term "AI Agent" loosely.
But, imagine going into work with your meetings already scheduled, emails drafted, and projects organized.
All while you were sleeping.
We might not be there yet.
But we're certainly a step closer.
The real question isn't whether this will save time.
But what we'll do with the extra time we have?
Will we focus on more creative work?
Build stronger relationships?
Hey, maybe we'll finally get a 3-day work week!
(One could hope).
One thing is for sure.
2025 is the year of AI agents.
What are you doing today—
To learn how to use them tomorrow?
Anthropic finally adds web search to Claude after months of safety testing. The company's cautious approach made Claude the last major AI model to gain internet access, reflecting Anthropic's philosophy of prioritizing safety guardrails over rapid feature deployment.
